At Tafrana, every piece is made by hand in Morocco. We work with simple forms and traditional techniques, allowing the material and the hands behind each piece to remain part of the final result.
From shaping the clay to the last finishing touches, each stage is done with care. The small differences that appear along the way are what give our ceramics their character.
No two pieces are exactly alike.
Handmade ceramics naturally come with small differences. A slightly different shape, a change in texture, a variation in color or a small mark from the making process.
We don't try to make every piece look exactly the same. Those little differences are part of making something by hand, and they are what make each Tafrana piece its own.
